Preview BOOK REPORT

I'm preparing a book report about the book "Three to get Deadly" by Janet Evanovich, who was born in 1943 in New Jersey. After graduating from high school, Janet became the first in her family to attend college to study art. When she had children, she chose to become a housewife. In her thirties, she began writing novels.

I chose this book because it's very funny and entertaining and I like crime storys.

The book is about a young woman, Stephanie, who is a bounty hunter. She must catch the criminal when they don't show up for their court date. One day she has to catch an old aged pensioner, known as Uncle Mo. The problem is that everyone likes Mo and don't want to believe that he did anything wrong.

When Stephanie begins stumbling across the bodies of dead drug dealers she suspects that Mo has become a vigilante...

In this posting I would like to give you a little preview of what the book is about.

My community

My community is Pregarten.

It is located in the heart of the lower "Mühlviertel", about 20 km northeast of Linz. Pregarten became a market town in 1459 and has been recognized as a town sinze 2003.

Our mayor is called Anton Scheuwimmer and he is a member of teh people's party.
Helga Hofstadler is our deputy mayor. She is a member of the Social Democrats and she is the headmistress of the secondary school 1.

We have 3 kindergartens, a primary school, 2 secondary schools and a polytechnic school. There is also a music school which is in the famous culture centre "Bruckmühle". The concert hall in the "Findling" is built in the shape of a standing stone - typical for the Mühlviertel region.

Tragweinerstraße is the shopping street of Pregarten. There is a chemist's shop, an optician, a bakery, a butcher shop, a petrol station and many other shops. But there are also many shops on the city square.

There is an attractive outdoor swimming pool "Lagune" with a slide, a 3 m high diving platform and a Jacuzzi. In the winter you can frequent the indoor swimming pool with sauna and steam bath. There are 2 sport clubs in Pregarten, ASKÖ and UNION.

I like in Pregarten that it is near Linz, because there are great fashion shops. I also like that there are a lot of education places, so I don't have to go far away to get to school.
